| Qingxiang (light aroma) | Low oxidation, light or no roast | Jade-green granules; orchid fragrance, clear golden-green liquor |
| Nongxiang (rich aroma) | Traditional higher oxidation, baked | Golden liquor, ripe fruit & honey notes, smoother body |
| Chaoxiang (roasted) | Charcoal or electric roasting | Warm toasted notes over the orchid base; darker leaf |
Liquor: golden-green to amber, clear | Aroma: orchid (“Guanyin rhyme”), fresh cut grass (light) or ripe fruit (rich) | Taste: smooth, sweet, lingering aftertaste

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Qingxiang and Nongxiang Tieguanyin?
Qingxiang is lower oxidized with no roast — jade green granules and a fresh orchid bouquet. Nongxiang is traditional style, higher oxidation with baking — golden liquor, ripe fruit notes and a smoother, warmer body. Most Middle East and domestic buyers prefer Nongxiang; Japan and Europe often take Qingxiang.
How is Tieguanyin packed for export?
Standard export packing is 250 g or 500 g food-grade vacuum blocks, packed into 10–20 kg export cartons. Bulk 25–30 kg bags with PE liner are available for blending houses.
What is the shelf life and storage requirement?
Vacuum-packed light-aroma Tieguanyin keeps 18–24 months chilled (0–5 ℃); roasted styles store 24–36 months at room temperature in a dry, odor-free place.
Can you supply organic or EU-compliant Tieguanyin?
Yes. We supply EU MRL compliant lots tested by SGS/Intertek per lot, and EU/US/NOP organic certified material from contracted Anxi bases on request.
What is the MOQ and can I mix styles?
MOQ is 500 kg per style; mixed Qingxiang/Nongxiang/roasted styles can be loaded in one container.
