Longjing Green Tea (Dragon Well) — Bulk Wholesale from Hangzhou
Longjing (龙井, “Dragon Well”) is China’s benchmark pan-fired green tea from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Flat, smooth spear-shaped leaves, chestnut aroma and a soft, nutty sweetness. We supply West Lake (Xihu), Qiantang and Shifeng style Longjing in pre-Qingming (Ming Qian) and pre-Grain-Rain (Yu Qian) picks, nitrogen-flushed and cold-stored to preserve the fresh harvest character.

Grades & Styles — How to Choose
| Grade / Style | Grade & harvest | How to identify |
|---|---|---|
| Special grade (Ming Qian) | Pre-Qingming, one bud one leaf | Tender flat spears, high chestnut aroma, sweet umami |
| Grade 1–2 (Yu Qian) | Pre-Grain-Rain pick | Slightly broader leaf, fuller body, still excellent |
| Grade 3–4 (daily drink) | Late spring pick | More leaf texture, economical for teahouse & catering |
Liquor: pale jade-yellow, sparkling | Aroma: toasted chestnut, fresh beans | Taste: soft, nutty-sweet, low astringency
Buyer checklist: demand harvest-date declaration and cold-chain evidence — Longjing loses aroma fast at room temperature. Fake “West Lake” labels are common; we declare Xihu/Qiantang zone honestly with traceable lot codes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Ming Qian and Yu Qian Longjing?
Ming Qian is picked before the Qingming festival (5 April) — the earliest, most tender buds with the highest aroma and price. Yu Qian (before 5 May) has slightly larger leaves, fuller body and much better value; most wholesale buyers choose Yu Qian Grade 1–2.
Is this real West Lake Longjing?
We offer both certified West Lake (Xihu) protected-origin material and Qiantang zone material with honest zone declaration — at very different price points. Certification tags available for Xihu lots.
How is Longjing shipped to keep it fresh?
Nitrogen-flushed 5 kg foil bags, cold storage in transit where required, and we recommend sea shipment only in reefer containers or air freight for top grades.
Can you supply organic Longjing?
Yes, EU/US organic certified Longjing from contracted Zhejiang bases is available with pre-booking for the spring crop.
What is the MOQ?
300 kg per grade; samples 50–200 g free, courier collect.
